Got Method? 3 – Just DEW ET!

haha, just do it man!

So you picked out what way you wanna learn, you’re fired up, you’re thinking about Japanese, your significant other disowned you(jk), you’re thinking positive….now what?

Simple sauce dudes, Just Get to It!

If you’re doing a textbook, classroom, cd course it’s probably really easy to start because it’s basically layed out for you. Gathering your materials for this is as simple as buying the materials for it. You might find, along with people who choose self-study methods, that you’d like to tweak and modify your method some too by adding in more sources to get Japanese around you.

Gather your tools now that you’re ready!

The next set of entries will expose you to a bunch of tools that are helpful and fun. I am a believer of “free stuff is best”, and that the internet is a valuable source that you must be picky with. Also, I’ve found in a general sense that getting stuff for Japanese people made by Japanese people tends to be far more correct than stuff made by English speakers meant for English speakers.

Also I’d like to say that most the tools I will be covering will be geared towards self studiers who don’t have to worry about conflicting with their course’s layout or with the style in which the teacher may teach. Also I am a biased believer that you can learn to native fluency if you work for it so some tools will be for that end.

Also, I’m a firm believer of FUN > study, and that FUN = learning, and boring = anything but learning. So if you’re a devout page turner mind, mind burner studier who believes things like watching tv, movies, listening to music, and surfing the web is bad, I am afraid I may not present as much to you as I will to one who wants to have fun. 😛

So get to it man, woman, ma pa and child! Don’t wait another minute from starting your Japanese!
